CONDIVIDI

The INCAS is a collision avoidance system designed for general aviation and light sport aircraft. The device is a passive receiver of other aircraft transponder information. It receives and decodes this information and displays the exact position of all other aircraft equipped with a Mode-S + ES or ADS-B transponders. It also receives Mode-C transmissions and displays the number of potential threats nearby.

The INCAS was designed with ease of use in mind. The unit is very easy to operate and it will work right out of the box. Just connect the antennas and power and the INCAS will start up and it will show surrounding traffic.

Traffic will is shown on the display as a small icon, a dot and a line. The color of the icon will be yellow if the threat is outside the inner circle and red when the threat is inside the inner circle. The line represents the heading (direction of travel) of that particular aircraft and it is not a trailing line. The line is the actual direction of the aircraft. Please note that it can take a couple of cycles for the heading to be updated and calculated correctly. Also, next to the aircraft icon relative altitude x100 is displayed.
