AvMap Geosat 6 guides Donnavventura through the Grand Raid do Brasil

This year the new adventure will be guided by the new satellite navigator AvMap Geosat 6 with a ultra wide and ultra bright 4.8” touch screen which can be used in landscape or portrait mode. Geosat 6 will be preloaded with the high resolution map of Brazil, (Tele Atlas data) with more than 55500 cities in the federation and more than 28,000 points of interests, together with off road maps for Venezuela, Colombia, Jamaica, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador.

Geosat 6 features innovative software functions to help the Donnavventura in their long trip (more than 8000 km!): Trip computer to keep everything under control, Route overview which shows how many km of unpaved roads will be encountered along the route, and Stop planner which helps planning where to refuel (for example every 200 km).
