In order to update your EKP V Software, get the AvMap Suite!
The AvMap Suite is a PC application that helps you keeping your EKP V up-to-date, managing maps and sharing contents.
1. Download on your PC AvMap Suite (this operation is necessary only once).
2. Connect your EKP V to the PC with the USB cable, and check through the Suite if there is a Software update available for your navigator.
3. Download the EKP V update for free and install it following the instructions on the Suite.
Connect your EKP V the PC periodically to keep it up-to-date!
Important notice for Mac users: The AvMap Suite for Mac is temporarily unavailable, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

- Battery charging status improved.
- Flight Plan copy contained wrong altitudes for intermediate Waypoints.
- SAR route direction could have an error of 1 degree.
- EFIS. PFD (Primary Flight Display) data boxes now are translated also in non-English languages.
- EFIS. Current time data boxes improved.
- EFIS. Data boxes below PFD screen now present only GPS and navigation data. No IMU data provided by them anymore.
- EFIS. Wind direction value reversed to present value "From" instead of "To".
- EFIS. Compass value box now contains precise value of the direction (1 degree precision).

- Airspaces found under the cursor are now filtered by altitude.
- TTG value added to the cursor panel.
- Vertical profile. Color of non-prohibited airspaces changed from red to yellow.
- FIR&UIR airspaces are now shown in the "Airspaces" list.

for your AvMap device:
1. Register your Navigator
2. Read the FAQsection
3. If you do not find the answer to your problem, then write us filling the online Assistance form or contact the CALL CENTER +39 0585 784044
4. The Customer Support will reply providing you instructions.
5. If the problem cannot be solved over the phone or email, you will receive via email a repair code ‘RMA’ with all the instructions to send us your navigator for repair.
